Certainly! Gift certificates are specific to each individual store, meaning that you can only use it within that particular store.

Yes, our stores offer layby. Laybys are valid for 21 days

Please note that we have to be strict about laybys being completed on time. When you make a layby you are making a commitment to buy an item from another member of the public, and if the layby is not complete it prevents them from being able to sell their item to another buyer. So laybys must be completed on time, or a 30% cancellation fees will apply.

We don’t currently offer Afterpay as we have not yet seen a demand for it in our stores. However we will consider this in the future.

While no formal qualifications are required by Second Mode, a background in retail and or sales would be an advantage. Importantly we are looking for people who are passionate about the business, have great customer service skills, and have a positive ’can do‘ attitude.

Second Mode Geelong Designer Store has over 900 consignors on our books so we know how to attract consignors. Franchise partners will be trained in the complete consignment process as part of their induction.

We have developed a unique self-service system which makes it very easy for consignors to sign up and submit items for sale in the shop.
